The No Cry Sleep Solution for Toddlers and Preschoolers
Guaranteed to help parents reclaim sweet dreams for their entire family.
New from the bestselling author of the classic baby sleep guide!
Getting babies to sleep through the night is one thing; getting willful toddlers and energetic preschoolers to sleep is another problem altogether. Written to help sleep-deprived parents of children ages one to five, The No-Cry Sleep Solution for Toddlers and Preschoolers offers loving solutions to help this active age-group get the rest they — and their parents — so desperately need.
A follow-up to Elizabeth Pantley’s megahit The No-Cry Sleep Solution, this breakthrough guide is written in Pantley’s trademark gentle, child-centered style. Parents will discover a wellspring of positive approaches to help their children get to bed, stay in bed, and sleep all night, without having to resort to punishments or other negative and ineffective measures. The No-Cry Sleep Solution for Toddlers and Preschoolers tackles many common nighttime obstacles, including:
- Refusals to go to bed,
- Night waking and early rising,
- Reluctance to move out of the crib and into a big-kid bed,
- Nighttime visits to the parents’ bed,
- Naptime problems,
- Nightmares, “night terrors,” and fears,
- Special sleep issues of twins, special needs children, and adopted children,
- Sleepwalking, sleep talking, snoring, and tooth grinding

5 Stars The Best!
This is the only book I’ve found on sleep issues that is detailed, practical, AND compassionate. Pantley shares my values of intimacy and kindness for your baby, but has the wealth of experience and data to suggest things that actually work. Not quickly, not magically, but steadily and gently.
4 Stars Got some good ideas
I got this book for my two youngest ones at the time 2 and 3. I did get some good ideas from the book that worked for us. But there is really no true, No cry way to get kids to sleep. Just gentle consistency, time, and a little/a lot of patience helps too.
5 Stars It actually worked!
Although people told us time and time again that our daughter wouldn’t sleep through the night till we let her cry it out, we just didn’t have the hearts to do it to her. So, at 16 months old and waking up at 3am every night and not going back to sleep till 5am, I was at my wit’s end. Hubby and I both work full time and were sleep deprived and angry. I did some research on techniques we were comfortable with and this sounded good and the customers gave it great reviews so I thought I’d try it. Honestly, I didn’t really think it would work as my 16 month old is very strong willed. After 2 days we saw amazing results. I will now recommend this book to all my friends. We are all sleeping MUCH better now and are much happier as a result. And we didn’t have to endure hours of screaming and crying or years of guilty feelings. Thank you so much for this book!
5 Stars This Book Saved Us All!
My 21 month old daughter never slept and I thought it was just how she was. I also began to wonder if she was a bit Hyperactive. I had no idea that over tiredness could manifest itself in such a way. This book is 100% common sense and pointed out every thing that we were doing wrong perfectly. Not even half way through, I had already made a few changes to our sleeping approaches and on the first day we had a nap right after lunch and were in bed by 8:00 (instead of barley a nap at 4:00 and in bad at 10:30 after an hour long battle) and we are still going strong. I just didn’t know this very simple and obvious stuff that was leading to the bed time battles. This book was exactly what I needed and saved our lives. I have already recommended it to three other moms with enthusiasm! Good Luck…and may the Sleep be with you!!
5 Stars Helpful book for good nights rest!
The delivery was great! The book is very infomative and easy to read as well as understand.I also appreciated that she takes away any guilt from not doing it the way everyone else says and do what you feel comfortable with for your child! I have already implemented some of the things in the book with my own 3 year old. Would recommend to anyone who has a restless or hard to fall asleep toddler/preschooler!
Love Secrets with Barbara De Angelis Ph D

Love Secrets with Barbara De Angelis Ph D

The Love Doctor is definitely in throughout this peppy program that’s a cross between a gabby Oprah and a dazzling infomercial. The “doctor” would be Barbara De Angelis, PhD, a much-published relationship expert who’s also a polished performer (she was once a magician’s assistant to then-husband Doug Henning). In Love Secrets, her cheerleading monologue is filled with colorful analogies that try to help listeners understand, communicate with, and, ultimately, have a much closer relationship with the opposite sex. She discloses common mistakes people make in intimate relationships and talks about how to create intimacy in, and out of, the bedroom. “Marriage isn’t a noun, it’s a verb,” she reminds. And Love Secrets is a complete sentence, a self-help “manual about love” that removes much of the mystery from the equation. –Valerie J. Nelson

4 Stars love secrets understood
Very informative and helpful advice on how to understand your lover/spouse. Great to have on hand whenever tensions develop within your relationship. DeAngelis uses visuals to help you understand how the opposite sex thinks in terms of what is important regarding work, sex and every day issues. Recommend this video to couples of any age, although it is a bit dated.
3 Stars Worth watching. Would have given it another star if,
It was only the second half. The first 30 minutes is just filler, but there is much that can be learned from the second half.
